Can you drive with Diia in Poland?

Why Diia doesn't work in Poland

Diia is a Ukrainian state system. It's not integrated with Polish registers, and during a road check Polish law requires a physical document.

The fine

Not having a physical document at a check may bring a fine (from a few dozen złoty upwards). And if you've also exceeded the period your Ukrainian licence is valid at all — that's a separate, much higher fine of 2000 zł.

Bottom line. Carry your physical Ukrainian licence. And if you live in Poland over 185 days — it's time to exchange it for a Polish one anyway.
